Sangareddy: A man was found unconscious in his quarters on the BHEL campus after smoke engulfed the house following a fire accident on Tuesday afternoon.

Devendra Singh, an employee of BHEL, was rushed to BHEL hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment. When the neighbours saw smoke emanating out of quarter number 2017A, they called the officials, who rushed a fire tender to the spot and doused the fire after an hour’s effort.

They rescued Singh, who fainted after inhaling the smoke. A short circuit reportedly caused the fire accident.
