Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) held a heartfelt farewell ceremony at Telangana Bhavan on Monday to honour party general secretary and party headquarters in-charge Madireddy Srinivas Reddy, who retired after 24 years of dedicated service to the party. Former Minister and senior MLA T Harish Rao urged Srinivas Reddy to document his experiences in a book to inspire future generations. “Srinivas Reddy dedicated himself to the party activities and fulfilled his responsibilities with dedication. He came to the party head office even during the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said, stating that felicitating Srinivas Reddy was equal to felicitating every BRS activist.

Legislative Council Leader of Opposition S Madhusudhana Chari recalled Srinivas Reddy’s close relationship with the BRS chief and termed him as one of Chandrashekhar Rao’s most trusted associates. Former Deputy Speaker T Padmarao Goud, former Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy and G Jagadish Reddy, assured Srinivas Reddy of their continued support, despite him shifting to the US.
