BRS legislators wear green scarves protesting against delayed disbursement of Rythu Bandh

BRS legislators have been making statements at the ongoing Assembly and Council sessions by donning different attires each day to spotlight various public issues. On Monday, they wore T-shirts featuring images of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and industrialist Gautam Adani. On Tuesday, they dressed in black to protest the detention of Lagacherla farmers. By Wednesday, they switched to the khaki uniform of auto-rickshaw drivers to draw attention to their struggles.

Hyderabad: BRS MLAs and MLCs on Thursday attended the ongoing session of the Assembly and the Council respectively, with green-coloured scarves around their necks, in a mark of protest and also to remind Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy about his promise to disburse Rythu Bandhu amount to farmers. They demanded that the Congress government fulfill its promise and release funds for Rythu Bandhu financial assistance.

The BRS legislatives have been attending the ongoing session of Assembly and Council in different attires everyday to highlight various issues of public concern. They wore T-shirts with the photographs of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and industrialist Gautam Adani on Monday, black dresses to protest against detention of Lagacherla farmers on Tuesday, and auto-rickshaw drivers’ khaki uniform to highlight their plight on Wednesday.


Speaking on the occasion, BRS MLC Kavitha said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy took oath on different deities of Telangana during the Lok Sabha election campaign to provide an enhanced Rythu Bandhu, but did not even continue the existing Rythu Bandhu.
