Congress Govt trying to suppress opposition with false cases: BRS leaders

Sanagareddy: Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar said the Congress government had filed a baseless case against former Minister T Harish Rao just to suppress his voice for exposing the failures of the government.

Prabhakar, Zaheerabad MLA K Manik Rao, BRS leaders Chanti Kranthi Kiran, M Bhupal Reddy, Malkapuram Shiva Kumar, P Jailapl Reddy and others addressed a press conference responding to a case filed against Harish Rao in Punjagutta police station. Prabhakar said the police registered the case following the directions of Chief Mnister A Revanth Reddy and called Chakradhar Goud, the man who filed the case, as a cheater.


Zaheerabad MLA K Manik Rao said Revanth Reddy came to power assuring of fulfilling all promises within 100 days, but he could not keep them even after a year. When the BRS leaders exposed the failures, the Congress government was forcing the police to file cases.
