DK Aruna urges Congress govt not to politicise Sandhya Theatre stampede issue

Speaking to media after visiting Sritej, who is undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital after being injured in the stampede here on Tuesday, Aruna said politicisation of the incident would send a wrong message to the film industry.

Hyderabad: Mahabubnagar BJP MP DK Aruna urged the ruling Congress party not to politicise the stampede incident that took place at Sandhya theatre during Pushpa 2 premiere.

Speaking to media after visiting Sritej, who is undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital after being injured in the stampede here on Tuesday, Aruna said politicisation of the incident would send a wrong message to the film industry. She urged the State government and the film industry to stand by the victim’s family. “Government should put an end to the issue and let the law take its own course,”she said.
