Hyderabad: The Kukatpally police along with the Balanagar Central Crime Station (CCS) team have arrested a three-member interstate house burglary gang involved in the burglary reported at a businessman’s residence on Tuesday.

Police officials recovered gold and silver ornaments, a bike and mobile phones, altogether worth Rs 50 lakh. The arrested persons are S Laxman, G Naga Shankar and G Murali, all from Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

The trio were working as drivers at Prakash Engineering Office in Vivekananda Nagar Colony, Kukatpally and were closely acquainted with the owner of the firm.

According to the police, the suspects were aware of the movements of their employer and conspired to burgle his house. As per their plan, on November 29, they broke into the house and stole valuables worth lakhs.

Based on a complaint, the police booked a case and after analysing over 200 cameras along the escape route, they identified the trio and nabbed them, apart from seizing the stolen material from them.
