BRS working president KT Rama Rao hailed PV Narasimha Rao as a visionary who rescued India from an economic crisis and laid the groundwork for modern India with his bold reforms. While discussing the Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Bill, 2024, in the Legislative Council on Saturday, Kavitha expressed concerns that the bill would create confusion across the State, causing difficulties for people in resolving land-related issues. Defending the BRS government's initiative to introduce the Dharani portal for land registration, she emphasized that Dharani serves as a protective shield for farmers, effectively curbing land scams in the State.

Making a special mention on the issue in the legislative council on Saturday, Kavitha said during BRS regime civil rights day was conducted on last Sunday of every month, wherein all the district, village and mandal level officers used to create awareness about the ill effects of caste discrimination and untouchability to the people

Responding to a query from BRS member K Kavitha during the Question Hour in the Legislative Council on Wednesday, Bhatti stated that the union government had released Rs. 28,171 crore under tax devolution, Rs. 2,819 crore through Finance Commission grants, Rs. 6,442 crore under centrally sponsored schemes, Rs. 518 crore as GST compensation, and Rs. 450 crore under special assistance for backward districts to the State.

Speaking to the media at her residence on Friday, Kavitha strongly criticized the gazette notification enforcing the revised design. The directive mandates the installation of statues with the altered design statewide and threatens criminal penalties for non-compliance. “Even the British never imposed such restrictions on Bharat Mata statues during the Indian independence movement. This decision is undemocratic and disrespectful,” she remarked.

Speaking to Telangana Vaddera community leaders on Wednesday, Kavitha stated that even after a year in power, the Congress government had failed to take action on key promises, such as constructing BC Unity (Aikyatha) buildings with a Rs 50 crore allocation per district and ensuring 42 percent reservation for BCs in local bodies. She also condemned the government for neglecting caste-based professions.

BRSV leaders Kandula Madhu and K Vijay Rao staged a protest at Osmania University Arts College, sending phenyl cleaners to Congress MLAs with a message to "clean their mouths" for making unparliamentary remarks against the BRS MLC. They emphasized that disrespect towards women leaders would not be tolerated.

The BRS leaders demanded for immediate release of the arrested ASHA workers, quality treatment for the injured and also action against the police officials responsible.

Kavitha said the Congress government's promises including educational, financial support schemes and employment, were yet to materialise. She pointed out that initiatives like the Rs 5 lakh Vidya Bharosa card and aid under the Vidya Jyothi scheme remained unimplemented.

Kavitha pointed out the delay in implementing the Mahalakshmi scheme, where women were promised Rs 2,500 per month but have received nothing even after a year. "The Chief Minister owes Rs 30,000 to each woman in Telangana under this scheme and an additional Rs 24,000 for not increasing pensions as promised," she said.

. Remembering the electoral defeat of the BRS a year ago, he called the past year as one of the hardest years for the party, replete with many setbacks and challenges.

She also criticised the Congress for neglecting the implementation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016, and for failing to properly enforce reservations for differently-abled individuals.
