KIMS Cuddles empowers 200 pregnant women to champion natural deliveries in Telangana

She highlighted the significance of raising awareness about this through initiatives like Mrs. Mom, which has successfully completed eight seasons.

Hyderabad: The season eight of the unique beauty contest titled Mrs Mom, a unique initiative aimed at encouraging natural deliveries in Telangana State, was organised by Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Cuddles.

Speaking at the grand finale of the unique beauty pageant, Dr. K. Shilpi Reddy, Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology, KIMS Cuddles, said that pregnancy and childbirth are natural processes and stressed the importance of creating awareness about this through initiatives like Mrs. Mom, which has successfully completed eight seasons.

Out of the 500 participants in Hyderabad, 200 pregnant women were selected as ambassadors to spread awareness within their communities. The pregnant were trained on topics such as nutrition, exercise, pregnancy care, handling health challenges, overcoming physical and mental issues, and incorporating practices like music therapy and spirituality, Dr Shilpi Reddy said.

Sai Priyanka emerged as the winner while Navya and J. Keerthi were declared the first and second runners-up, respectively.
