Hyderabad: BRS leader and former Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy launched a blistering attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the Congress government, accusing them of neglecting key projects and failing to fulfill promises made to the people of Telangana.

Niranjan Reddy criticized Revanth Reddy for lowering the dignity of the Chief Minister’s office by constantly attacking BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao. He pointed out that despite Revanth Reddy’s threats to erase Chandrashekhar Rao’s legacy, he still visited the temple built by Chandrashekhar Rao on his birthday. He condemned Revanth Reddy’s behavior, stating that even after a thousand years, the Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple would remind the people of Chandrashekhar Rao.

He accused Revanth of neglecting the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme for 11 months, failing to visit or review the project even once. He claimed that if proper steps were taken, the reservoirs would have been filled by now. He also criticized the Congress government for allowing Andhra Pradesh to illegally divert 180 TMC of water from the Krishna Basin due to negligence. Niranjan Reddy also accused the Congress government of failing to support farmers by not providing Rythu Bandhu, loan waivers, or Rs 500 bonus for paddy. He pointed out that the government had not even purchased 10 percent of the produce during Kharif in the State so far.
