Hyderabad: The State government on Friday decided to continue the existing assessment system i.e., 80 marks for external and 20 marks for internal exams in the SSC Public Exams for the present academic year 2024-25.

The move by the government comes a day after it issued an order notifying that 100 per cent of the marks will be awarded to external assessment exams only, doing away with the internal assessment marks. Modifying this order, the government on Friday decided to implement this from the next academic year i.e., 2025-26.

However, students will be awarded marks instead of grades announced earlier.
