Telangana logs 993 cases, 9 deaths on Monday

On Monday, 1,417 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.18 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 993 new Covid infections and nine fatalities till Monday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,644 and the total number of positive cases to 6,21,606. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday was 13,869.

Between Sunday and Monday, authorities conducted 1,12, 982 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 983 samples are awaited. On Monday, 1,417 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.18 per cent. So far, a total of 1,84,40, 869 Covid tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,21,606 have tested positive and 6,04,093 persons have recovered.


The Covid positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, 58 from Bhadradri, 124 from areas under GHMC, 24 from Jagtial, 10 from Jangaon, 19 from Bhupalpally, four from Gadwal, five from Kamareddy, 49 from Karimnagar, 50 cases from Khammam, five from Asifabad, 15 from Mahabubnagar, 51 from Mahabubabad, 59 from Mancherial, 10 from Medak, 45 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 32 from Mulugu, 11 from Nagarkurnool, 78 from Nalgonda, five from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, 48 from Peddapalli, 24 from Siricilla, 39 from Rangareddy, 10 from Sangareddy, 33 from Siddipet, 72 from Suryapet, 10 from Vikarabad, 11 from Wanaparthy, 18 from Warangal Rural, 37 from Warangal Urban and 25 from Bhongir.
