Medak: In a horrifying incident, a village woke up to see one of its residents hanging from an electric pole at Mirzapally village in Chinna Shankarampet mandal.

He was Chintala Siddiramulu (45), a painter by profession. He reportedly left home on Sunday night. When he failed to return home, the family members searched for him everywhere, but to no avail.

Some villagers saw him hanging from the electric pole on Monday morning. Family disputes reportedly drove him to take the extreme step. The police registered a case. The body was taken to the government hospital for postmortem.
