Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A woman was arrested for allegedly murdering her husband at Easgaon village in Kagaznagar mandal, on Wednesday.

Kagaznagar Rural Inspector Srinivas and Sub-Inspector Mahender said that Saraswathi Sarkar from village number 2 in Easgaon village was apprehended for eliminating her husband Dilal Sarkar (44).

On being interrogated, Saraswathi confessed to committing the crime as she was irritated by her husband for harassing her after being addicted to liquor and for suspecting her fidelity over the past few years. She admitted to banging on his head with a cricket bat when he picked up an argument with her under the influence of alcohol on Tuesday, resulting in spot death for him.

Saraswathi was married to Dilal 20 years back. The couple has a daughter and two sons.
